How Workplace Compass HR collects and uses your information when you contact us through this website.

Who we are
Workplace Compass HR is the data controller for information you provide through this website. You can reach us at kirsty@workplacecompass.co.uk for anything relating to your data.
What we collect
When you submit the enquiry form we collect your name and email address, which are required, and your business name, approximate number of employees, the type of help you are looking for and your message, which are optional. If you tick the updates box we also record that you have consented to receive occasional emails.
We do not collect anything else. There is no analytics, no advertising and no tracking of how you move around the site.
Why we collect it
We use your information to respond to your enquiry and, if you go on to work with us, to provide the services you have asked for. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests, specifically replying to a request you have made of us. Where you have opted in to updates, the lawful basis is your consent, and you can withdraw it at any time.
Who else handles it
We do not sell your information or share it for marketing. Two providers process it on our behalf:
- Netlify, which hosts this website and receives form submissions
- Google Workspace, which delivers and stores our email
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted after twelve months. Where we go on to work together, client records are kept for six years after our working relationship ends, in line with our professional and tax obligations.
Where your information is held
Workplace Compass HR operates from Greece and serves clients in the United Kingdom, so your information may be accessed from outside the UK. Both countries are covered by equivalent data protection standards, and our providers hold your data under their own safeguards for international transfers.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, and withdraw consent to marketing at any time. Email kirsty@workplacecompass.co.uk and we will deal with it.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
This website sets no tracking or advertising cookies, which is why you have not been asked to accept any. Typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser makes a request to Google and your IP address is visible to them as part of delivering the fonts.
